Eliot Lloyd
Senior Lecturer in Strategy
Eliot joined our University in 1996 as a lecturer in Sport Studies and transferred to the department of Strategy and HRM in 2001. He currently works as a Senior Lecturer in Strategy.
He has been responsible for delivering core undergraduate units in strategy and also delivers a unit on the CMI programme.
In addition, he is one of the team delivering the level 1 core business programme.
Previous Experience
Eliot worked in management positions for Office Cleaning Services in London and the British Council.
In the latter he was responsible for delivering and coordinating a sponsorship package to British businesses underwriting the English Shakespeare Company tour of India.
In 1993 he studied for an MSc in Sport Science at the University of Sheffield and after its completion worked as a part time lecturer in Sport Studies at Sheffield before taking up the post of BTEC coordinator and Sport Studies lecturer at New College Swindon.
Research Interests
- Using the Balanced Scorecard to improve the delivery of taught modules
- Development of short course programmes in designing Balanced Scorecards for small businesses
