Dr Onyekachi Onuoha

Lecturer in Project Management

Dr Onyekachi Onuoha is a lecturer in Project Management at the Graduate School of Business, University of Bedfordshire where he utilises teaching and research to inspire students while imparting knowledge and skills needed to manage projects, programmes and portfolios as well as lead national and international business operations. He previously worked at Places for People, leading and managing several Projects. He was a lecturer in Management Sciences at Nnamdi Azikiwe University for 11 years and consulted for organisations like Connected Development, Avantsy, OXFAM, Malala Fund, USAID, among others. With both industry and academic experience, he has expertise in driving outcomes and benefits of projects, programmes and portfolios using linear, agile and hybrid life cycles. His empirical research outputs using qualitative and quantitative methods have helped to significantly solve industry-based problems. He prioritises excellent leadership in organisations to drive benefits realisation. He has great leadership skills and his training in the Public Leaders Programme at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford has further broadened his competence in leadership. He is a full member of the Association for Project Management (APM). He has a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Salford, Manchester and a PhD in Cooperative Economics and Management.
