Dr Carol Thompson
Senior Lecturer in Post Compulsory Education
After qualifying as a teacher, I worked in the post compulsory sector in Leicestershire and moved into teacher education in order to share my experience and enthusiasm for teaching. My time in FE provided me with extensive experience in pedagogical approaches, working with a diverse range of learners and managing curriculum.
My current role is course co-ordinator for post compulsory education and within this I have the opportunity to share my experience and enthusiasm for teaching by supporting new teachers in the development of their professional skills.
