Senior Lecturer in Computer Science and Technology

Dr Feng obtained her PhD degree from the Victoria University of Manchester (ORS Award Winner). She then carried out post-doctoral research, while doing part-time teaching, in the Department of Computer Sciences, the University of Liverpool.

She is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Technology at University of Bedfordshire since 2011.  There she act as a course leader of Computer Security and Forensics both for MSc and Undergraduate since 2011.

She was rewarded a lectureship in the Dept. of Computer Science, School of MIS at Coventry University in 2003.  She also gained broad practical experiences while working in computing and mobile communications industries before moving to Coventry.

Dr Feng has authored/co-authored more than 80 refereed journal papers and numerous conference keynote speeches, as well as book chapters for Springer and so on.  She has organised five IEEE International Workshops in Applications of AI, Cybersecurity and BigData (ACE2017-2021) as the general chair.  She won the IEEE Best Quality of Service Award in 2019.

She has acted as the Mentor of External Examiner for several HEI in UK.

Professional Activities

Dr Feng chaired many international conferences sessions and acted as a committee member in several international conferences from 2005 to 2021.
