Dr Hiroki Nishino
Senior Lecturer in Computer Science
Dr Nishino is serving as Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at the Faculty of Creative Arts, Technologies and Science, University of Bedfordshire.
He is a computer scientist specialising in creative technologies, with an interdisciplinary background in digital art and computer music. While his primary expertise is in designing and developing programming languages for creative coding, he has a broad interdisciplinary foundation spanning both research and practice. His research portfolio includes work in computer music, digital art, augmented reality, tangible interaction, interaction design, digital games, AI art, and more.
Dr. Nishino contributions to research and creative practice in digital media have earned him international prizes and awards. He has taught and conducted research in the US, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, and the UK. Many of his undergraduate students have successfully published their final year projects as posters or short papers at top international conferences.
