Competition Overview

UoBRacing is a team of undergraduate students from the University of Bedfordshire, proudly entering the prestigious Formula Student competition for the first time. This global event, run by the IMechE, brings together university teams from around the world to design, build, and compete in a Formula-style race car. It offers an exciting opportunity for students to apply their theoretical and practical knowledge in a real-world, competitive environment, fostering innovation, teamwork, and engineering excellence. The Formula Student competition provides a unique opportunity for mechanical engineering undergraduates to participate in a complex project to design and develop a small racing car, bench-marked against those from other academic institutions worldwide.
