- We have a number of internationally recognised research projects, one of which is our REAMIT project funded by the Interreg North West Europe programme – The University is the lead research institution on this project (working with other universities across Europe) this project focusses upon:
- Efficiency of Supply Chains within Agricultural process,
- The use of Big Data and sensors to manage food conditions during transportation between suppliers, and
- The removal and reduction of waste to promote sustainability.
- ‘Improving Resources Efficiency of Agribusiness supply chains by Minimising waste using Internet of Things Sensors (REAMIT).
