Why did you choose the University of Bedfordshire? 

Because of the location and it offered the course that I was interested in. 

What has been the most challenging task you have accomplished in your degree?

Changing many of the preconceived ideas that I had learnt over my adult life.

How does this course prepare you for employment?

It helps you to be non-judgemental and teaches you the importance of not making assumptions.

Why would you recommend this course to others?

This course has been a real eye opener. It has changed my view of the world and has made me a better person. I believe this course could do the same for others.

Which practical aspects of the course do you enjoy the most and why?

I enjoy researching many different subjects which gives me a better understanding of prejudice and discrimination as well as domestic violence.

What did you like about the facilities?

All the facilities are clean and easy to access.

Were the staff members supportive with your studies?

The staff are amazing. They have given me, and many other students I have spoken to, the confidence to achieve more than many of us believe we could.

Apart from studying, what else about university do you enjoy?

I have enjoyed meeting many different people from different cultures and becoming friends.

Which university services do you use most and why?

I use the library on regular occasions and find it to be well stocked and the staff helpful.

Any advice for people thinking of studying at the University of Bedfordshire?

Go for it! No matter what problems you may face, there is always a member of staff who is willing to help. 

What do you like most about living and studying in Bedfordshire?

That I can live at home and still gain a good education. 

What skills do you think you have learnt as a result of your studies at the University?

Tolerance, patience and, most importantly, self confidence. 

Why would you recommend the University of Bedfordshire to others?

It has a friendly atmosphere and it is a modern and clean place to learn.

Any other comments?

I believe many people are afraid to go back to education because of the fear of failure. This course and the people who run it have given me the belief that I can achieve much more than I thought I ever could.
