Tutor in Health and Social Care

Prior to joining the University of Bedfordshire, I have worked in different educational settings, including FE and HE environments, teaching a wide range of academic subjects on different programmes, as well as Health and Social Care, and Biosciences. Additionally, I have taken part in the teaching, assessment, and moderation of postgraduate modules in health care and life science subjects. My experience as a multidisciplinary lecturer has led to the acquisition of broad and deep knowledge of educational processes that always enable good progression and attainment for students in different academic environments.

My experience included working as a post-doctoral Research Associate in a University hospital where the focus was public health and life science research, resulting in publications in peer-reviewed journals. As a qualified teacher and HE lecturer, I have had the opportunity to serve as course, module, or study skills lead in a wide range of educational environments, in addition to teaching commitments. My earlier experience has also allowed opportunities for organising student work experience placements and taking part in mentoring or coaching at different levels of learning and contexts.
