New funding available

The government recently announced that additional funding support will be made available to all new and current pre-registration students on nursing, midwifery and some allied health professional courses including paramedic courses from September 2020.

This means all eligible students will receive at least £5,000. Some will receive additional payments of up to £3,000. This covers students in regions or specialisms struggling to recruit and those who need help to cover childcare costs. Find out more here.
