The NMC standards for supervision, support and assessment of students (SSSA)
Go to the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC)
Familiarise yourself with the landing page of the NMC website by clicking-on each of the six menus [about us, standards, education, concerns, registration and news] contained within the horizontal menu bar.
Click-on the ‘education’ menu, click on ‘standards for education’ and select ‘standards for midwives’.
You will see that the standards for pre-registration midwifery have been published as ‘parts’.
Watch this video on ‘how to use the standards’.
Click-on ‘Standards for student supervision and assessment’ (Part 2) which were published by the NMC in 2018. This can be opened by clicking-on the ‘download PDF’ option.
