The Culture and Community Engagement team co-delivered the Project Planning Unit on the MA Performing Arts pathway in order to support students interested in working in school settings to develop pedagogically applicable interactive projects that supported GCSE English student better understand and remember the AQA poetry anthology.

Students were supported during taught hours to understand approaches to applied theatre and drama practices, test ideas and build workshop curriculum.

The Culture and Community Engagement team then collaborated with the Collaborative Outreach team to pay students to travel to and tour various secondary schools across Bedfordshire in order to deliver the workshops.

The students then shared their learnings in a formal presentation as part of their Unit assessment.
