Wider Heritage Projects
In addition to our project work with the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Culture and Community Engagement team offers broader support to heritage practitioners and organisations across Bedfordshire to enable the delivery of innovative projects and to ensure the sustainability of the sector.
The Culture and Community Engagement team are currently supporting university colleagues to apply for funding that will highlight the heritage, and secure the future, of our Grade II listed campus, Putteridge Bury
Flitwick's 'A Living History' is a collaboration between the University of Bedfordshire's Arts and Culture projects team and Flitwick Town Council. Through the Central Bedfordshire Council's UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the project will create an interactive website, Flitwick - A Living History, and a community archive showcasing the social history of its residents and the development of the town, alongside outreach events to engage the community members.
