2021 Online Winter Research Seminar

7 December 2021

The 2021 Online Winter Research Seminar was our fifth online event.

We were delighted to welcome Dr Larry Davis, Senior Research Scientist, Educational Testing Service (ETS) in the USA as our guest speaker.

Dr Davis gave a presentation titled "Investigation of a novel hybrid human-machine scoring approach for a test of oral English".

There were also be presentations from members of the CRELLA team and one of the PhD candidates:

Dr Sathena Chan and Dr Nahal Khabbazbashi from CRELLA regarding their research titled: "Towards the new construct of Academic English in the digital age".

and

Jane Lloyd, Senior Research Manager, Cambridge Assessment English/CRELLA regarding her research entitled: "An interdisciplinary investigation of decision making".
