2020 CRELLA Online Summer Research Seminar
1st July 2020
In light of the pandemic, CRELLA was forced to postpone its Spring seminar. Instead, in July we hosted our first online research seminar. It proved to be a great success, attracting attendees from all over the world.
At this event we were fortunate to welcome the following invited speakers
- Prof Andrea Révész (University College London): The Role of proficiency in second language writing processes and outcomes
- Dr Jing Xu and Annabelle Pinnington (Cambridge Assessment): Developing computer-based speaking tasks to assess the ‘mediation’ construct
We will also had a presentation from a member of the CRELLA team
- Dr John Field: Idle chatter? A fresh look at what really goes on in tests of interactive speaking
