English Language Teaching Project for Higher Education Institutions in Vietnam

Summary: This project, funded by the British Council, worked with three tertiary institutions in Vietnam to research and develop their English language staff proficiency, as well as their syllabi and assessment procedures. Research tools included an extensive online survey of institutional needs and views, an online test of staff language proficiency, and on-site visits. The outcome was a set of detailed reports and recommendations with a view to developing institutional ELT capacity.
