We are celebrating British Science Week by sharing videos of you and your best science experiments. This is your chance to take part! As home learning will soon come to an end, let’s put your knowledge into practice and showcase your STEM talents.

Also remember if you anyone 18 and under please make sure you have adult supervision when filming your experiment as remember safety first!

Meet Ioanna Siomou
My name is Ioanna I am currently studying Biomedical Science BSc (Hons). I’m from Greece and started studying in 2018; I chose Biomedical science because of how interested I was in the science behind how our bodies work and in addition, Biomedical Science allows you to explore a number of fields such as immunology, microbiology and pathology.
This means that I could choose whichever one of these I want to continue my studies in the future! I enjoy my course so much, it has been so fun being in the lab with my classmates and trying out really interesting experiments.
Natalia Warzecha
My name is Natalia and I am a Psychology, Counselling and Therapies BSc (Hons) student at the University of Bedfordshire. The reason why I chose to study psychology is that I was always interested in what happens in the human brain and how this impacts our behaviour.
I find it interesting reading about various mental health problems and the causes behind them; however, what I like the most about my course is learning about different ways of supporting people with mental health issues.
