Aims

1. Creating the following products – modules:

1.1. Set of curricular e-learning modules in the field of finance, banking and accountancy, which will be applied: 

• In institutions of higher education/ universities – as modules of bachelor and MA studies (specialities: finance, banking, accountancy),
• In the financial-banking sector as well as in small and medium companies – as training materials addressed to institutions and individuals.

1.2. Set of methodological e-learning courses (methodology modules) comprising recommendations and tips related to running classes in the Internet with regard to individual needs of particular target groups (university and business environment), which will constitute teaching aids for teachers and coaches who teach internet classes.

1.3. Virtual Library of Resources E-learning comprising knowledge in the field of finance, accountancy and banking and preparing common patterns (templates) including recommendations and methodological guidelines related to the content itself as well as the methodology of running e-learning classes based on the resources of the created Library for various target groups.

2. Creating methodology of practical teaching of financial and banking subjects with the use of e-learning tools. It will encompass all target groups of the project and answer their training needs.

3. Enriching the knowledge conveyed to students of higher education schools in practical aspect – training students with regard to the expectations of future employers, which were examined in conducted analysis.

4. Increasing the availability of education in the scope of finance and banking – particularly as regards groups with low mobility which makes it difficult for them to attend traditional studies/training.

5. Creating the basis for joint European MA studies in the field of finance and banking – products created by the partners in the course of their co-operation will constitute the basis for building further modules in future, which might become the elements of the curriculum of joint pan-European university studies.

Target groups

• Students of vocational bachelor and MA studies who specialize in: finance, accountancy, banking;
• Staff employed in the finance-banking sector (banks, financial institutions, SME); banks, financial institutions and SME which are interested in developing the qualifications of their staff by training and individual "in company" courses;
• People who run training schemes and courses and who teach by e-learning methods (coaches, university teachers).

Results

• Sets of curricular e-learning modules in the scope of finance, banking and accountancy, which will be used:
  in schools of higher education and
  in the finance-banking sector and small and medium companies
• Set of methodology e-learning modules which train teachers and coaches to run classes/training in the e-learning system
• Joint Virtual Library of Resources E-learning, which collects e-learning modules created within this project.
