Transnational Meeting (Luton, UK)
The Business and Management Research Institute (BMRI) in the Business School hosted the second transnational meeting for Creating Entrepreneurs in Food (CEF) project on 1st November 2017.
The Business School is the UK partner for this EU-funded Erasmus Plus project aiming to build food innovation and entrepreneurship-focused rural communities and economies across Europe.
During the project meeting in the university’s new library, project partners, who came from the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) in Ireland, the European Council of Young Farmers (CEJA) in Belgium and the Polish Beef Association in Poland, shared their achievements, reviewed the project progress and forthcoming tasks, and discussed the preparation for the CEF roadshow on 2nd November 2017
The project team members at the University are Professor Yanqing Duan and Dr Yongmei Bentley.
Professor Duan, the project leader for the BMRI, said “We are delighted to welcome the project partners. CEF is a very exciting project and has attracted a lot of attention from stakeholders. All partners have enjoyed working together and are looking forward to meeting again in the next transnational meeting in Galway, February 2018.”
