Final Transnational Meeting
The AWARE project held its final Transnational Meeting on 7th June in Brussels (Belgium). Representatives from five partner countries, Ireland, UK, Belgium, Italy and Poland, gathered to discuss the end of the project.
The project coordinator gave an overview and main achievements of the project.
Throughout the project the consortium carried out a number of research activities, international seminars and training activities that resulted in the development of five project outputs:
- Curriculum for an online training course “Start your own Food Business” designed specifically for women in the Agri-Food sector
- Module content for the training course (University of Bedfordshire was a lead of this package)
- Research report on the importance and benefits of engaging with a business mentor
- Video of testimonials from Mentors/Mentees in Agri-Food businesses across partner countries
- Infographic booklet of supports and resources for women entrepreneurs in Europe’s Agri-Food sector
The project team also reflected on the final AWARE Conference that was held earlier on the day and discussed preparation of the final report.
The Universiy of Bedfordshire Business School was delighted to be part of this exciting project and enjoyed the successful collaboration with partners from the Ireland, Italy, Poland and Belgium.
