AWARE project poster award: University Annual Research Conference
The University held its Annual Research Conference on 17th June 2022 that showcased our research, and explored new cross-disciplinary research directions. On the day, there were presentations and academic debates that stimulated new research and collaborations, whilst offering an opportunity to learn about research projects and themes across the University, make new research connections, and consider inter-Institute research collaborations.
The AWARE project team of the Business School, Professor Yanqing Duan, Dr Yongmei Bentley, Ms Patricia Wilson and Ms Marina Kulbachnaia, contributed to the research conference by presenting a poster that promotes the AWARE project concepts and showcases its achievements so far. The poster was awarded the best poster prize by Professor Andrew Church, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Research and Innovation at the end of the conference. This is fantastic news for the AWARE project team.
We are very pleased to receive this award, and are thoroughly enjoying working on this exciting project supporting women food entrepreneurs in collaboration with our European partners. Specific thanks go to Marina Kulbachnaia for preparing the poster. The team at UoB will certainly appreciate the winning prize of "Afternoon Tea for Two in Putteridge Bury" and the academic book vouchers.
