Welcome to the Creative Spark Showcase

Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise Programme is a five-year initiative to support international university and institutional partnerships to develop enterprise skills and creative economy across seven countries in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan), South Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia) and Ukraine through UK support.

Wider Europe in the spotlightThe programme has been developed in response to an underdeveloped creative sector and a demand for entrepreneurship training in the programme countries, supporting wealth and job creation. Creative Spark programme aims to provide thousands of young people with enterprise skills and the ability to start their own business by creating international partnerships between higher education and creative institutions.

The Business School is successful in receiving fund to take part in this initiative in partnership with the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy (UEPA). The project 'Creating Creative Entrepreneurs' aims to develop entrepreneurial skills of students and young creative entrepreneurs, support new business activation and incubation, and to transfer knowledge.

Professor Yanqing Duan, who is leading the project, attended the Creative Spark Workshop and Showcase Reception in British Council in London on 21 January 2020.

The event was a great success and attracted over 120 guests from across the UK and the programme countries.

The whole event was a very enjoyable experience with inspiring exhibition. It was also such a pleasure to meet other project partners and our program coordinators."
