CLI Research Seminar
PhD student Hadil al Moosa led a presentation and discussion on the topic of veiling or unveiling in the context of women engaging in entrepreneurial work in Oman. The seminar took place on 21st June 2017.
Hadil described the official and more subtle influences that women navigate around when they entrée the public sphere as women with their own businesses. Her examples were illustrated with data from her current PhD research. She will be making a similar presentation at the Standing Conference on Organisational Symbolism (SCOS) in Rome, in July 2017.
