BMRI Research Seminar by Professor Traballi
The Business & Management Research Institute (BMRI) has organised a research seminar by Professor Rogerio Traballi on 9th October 2017.
Professor Rogerio Carlos Traballi, Professor and Coordinator of Agribusiness at Universidade Paulista, UNIP, Brazil, was invited to give a talk on 'Sustainability and challenges for Agribusiness in Brazil'.
Professor Traballi talked about challenges in agribusiness and sustainability issues in Brazil. He highlighted that Brazil is the 5th largest country in terms of land area but it could comprise of better percentages of agriculture in their GDP. Professor Traballi stressed several sustainability issues, not only related to agriculture context that evolved the whole system of storage, distribution and logistics of agriculture, but also waste in the big cities. Brazil need improve food supply logistics and integrated and sustainable waste management in a world economic agribusiness
The seminar was attended by staff members, PGR students and MBA students from the Business School.
