Katarzyna Pelc
REAMIT Project Manager
I am the Project Manager of the transnational European territorial cooperation project ‘REAMIT’ co-funded by Interreg North West Europe Programme. In this role, I support the project Principal Investigator from the University of Bedfordshire (UK) Business School in coordinating a consortium composed of partners from HEIs, Business Development Agencies and SMEs in the North West Europe region. This involves coordination of partners’ activities in line with the agreed work plan, timeline and budget; liaising with the funder at Interreg North West Europe Programme Joint Secretariat to ensure the project implementation complies with the funder’s rules and requirements; and promoting the project in agri-food supply chain networks in UK, EU and internationally.
In my previous role as Senior Interreg Expert and Knowledge Manager at the Interact Programme Viborg Office, Denmark, I assisted Interreg actors in the implementation of Interreg programmes and projects, and worked with European Commission actors on designing policy and operational guidelines for Interreg. In my role as Research Support Officer at the University of Bedfordshire UK, I supported academics in developing successful research and commercial bids for British, EU and international funders (ranging from EUR 50k to EUR 5m).
In my free time, I work towards obtaining a PhD qualification from Aalborg University, Denmark. My research interests include political economy, institutional entrepreneurship, financial innovations in transnational governance, technological innovations in food supply chains and venture capital funds.
