About the course

Our Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions Professional integrated degree apprenticeship provides deep, practical understanding of the latest digital technologies, applications and issues.

Our Teaching staff draw on industry experience as researchers or consultants and studies are aligned to BCS and IET accreditation. Classes take place in state- of-the-art computing laboratories and the apprenticeship co-ordinator links employer and apprentice to University. Successful apprentices will achieve the BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions.

The employer will select one of the specialisms for the apprentice which is specific to the role the apprentice will be performing, either Software Engineer, Network Engineer or Cyber Security.

Qualifications

Qualifications include BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions.

English and Maths to Level 2 included if not held at entry.


 

Entry requirements

Individual employers will set the selection criteria, but this is likely to include three ‘A’ levels, including maths, although some employers will accept other relevant qualifications or experience.

Fee - Companies with a wage bill less than £3m will just pay £1,350 over four years, this is because the government funds 95% of the full fee. If you are a levy-payer then this apprenticeship will be £27,000 from your levy. As a business of any size, you can also use Manage Apprenticeship service to apply for funding from large businesses that want to fund 100% of your apprenticeship training and assessment costs.
