Gender Pay Gap
At the University of Bedfordshire, equality, diversity and inclusion is a key institutional value that we are committed to. We recognise that embracing and promoting inclusion is critical to the success of the University and we can only achieve our vision of being an ambitious and forward-looking university by recruiting, supporting, and developing the talent of students and staff from a wide and diverse range of backgrounds.
We are required by law to publish a gender pay gap report by 30th March each year, based on data taken on the snap shot date of 31st March the previous year. The metrics include:
- Mean gender pay gap
- Median gender pay gap
- Mean gender bonus gap
- Median gender bonus gap
- Proportion of men and women receiving a bonus payment
- Proportion of men and women in each pay quartile
The employees included in the pay gap report match those stipulated on the gov.uk website.
