About Putteridge Bury campus
Our Putteridge Bury campus is a magnificent neo-Elizabethan manor house built in 1911 in the style of Chequers, with beautiful grounds and a reflecting pool.
It is home to University events including graduations, academic research symposia and seminars such as those held by our business school's postgraduate programmes, as well as a wide variety of public and private events including conferences, weddings, funeral receptions and public holiday functions.

Putteridge Bury is situated in picturesque parkland offering a delightfully rural environment yet is ideally placed just a few miles from the train station, M1, Luton town centre and London Luton Airport.

This will take you by the Butterfield roundabout on the A505 from here follow the road signs "University of Bedfordshire - Putteridge Bury campus".
From M1
Exit at junction 10 and follow signs for Hitchin (A505). Entrance is signposted soon after the Butterfield roundabout.
From A1(M)
Exit at junction 8 and follow signs for A602 to Hitchin. Then follow signs for Luton (A505). Entrance is signposted just before the Butterfield roundabout.
Luton (Thameslink or East Midlands) and Hitchin (Great Northern) are the nearest railway stations to Putteridge Bury. The most convenient way to reach the campus from either station is by taxi as buses do not stop at the campus.
The University runs a free shuttle bus for staff and students from the Luton campus (Vicarage Street) to Putteridge Bury.
Parking is available on-site for students (ID badge required). For conference delegates 150 free parking spaces are available.
