Jane Hooper
Tutor in Business Management
Currently my role involves being the Unit Co Ordinator for Planning Careers and Employability and Leadership and Management. Also acting as one of the Dissertation Supervisors on the BSc (Hons) Business Studies.
A second area of involvement is with the L4 Associate Project Management Apprenticeship. This involves Unit Co ordination for the Human Side of Project Management and acting as Apprenticeship Co Ordinator which supports the work based aspect of the apprenticeship and means daily liaison with staff from a number of large and small organisations.
More recently I have taken on the role of EDI representative for Strategy and Management which is enabling me to work across different areas of the University and raise awareness of the importance of inclusivity and celebration of the very diverse student and staff body we are lucky enough to have at the University of Bedfordshire.
Before joining the University in 2016, I held management positions in the Further Education sector. I have extensive and varied teaching experience and an interest in linking real-world experiences with theory to provide academic and employability progression.
