Can you find me a job?
Although we don't go out and find specific jobs, we have a host of employers who advertise on our careers platform - Handshake, attend jobs fairs and run webinars. We can support you with how to search for jobs and then through the application process by offering CV and application advice, mock interviews, assessment centre practice and much more.
Can you help me sort out my CV or resume?
YES! Our qualified Careers Consultants are experts in creating the perfect CV to showcase your skills and attributes. We also have a fantastic online tool called CV360 where you can upload your CV and get it reviewed by the latest AI technology and get clear action points to make improvements. Once your CV has been checked by CV360 and you have completed the action points, we encourage you to submit it for review by a Careers Consultant.
I've got a job interview, can you help me prepare?
We are delighted to offer all our students and graduates the Interview 360 mock interview simulator. Simply select your required interview type for a realistic mock interview, if you have uploaded your CV then the simulator will even ask you questions based on your actual skills and experience! You can practice as many times, as you like and each time you will get detailed feedback on your responses with clear action points to show you how you can improve.

How do I get a placement or internship?
Although we cannot find you a placement, we can help you to secure one through the opportunities posted on Handshake. We run multiple workshops on finding placements and many of our faculties have placements built into their curriculum. Further support is available from our Employment Opportunities and Support Team, visit our contact us pages to get in touch or book an appointment via Handshake
